Framed Nautical Paintings

All of our marine art prints are framed in beautiful hand-finished solid oak frames, custom-made for each print. Our frames are specially made to complement nautical art, and will suit both traditional and modern styles of décor.

Framed Marine Art

We make all frames for marine art to order, so before the order is received, the 'frame' is an unjoined length of oak in our workshop. Once an order is placed, we cut and join the frame, then stain and finish it using traditional techniques, waxes, polishes and a bit of elbow-grease, to produce a beautiful custom-made solid oak frame ready to take pride of place on your wall and show off your marine art to its best advantage.

Framed Nautical Scenes

As experienced picture framers, we enjoy builing high-quality frames, so rather than just posting out prints in tubes, we decided only to sell our marine art prints mounted and framed. Unless we’re shipping overseas, we use real glass rather than acrylic for all of our framed nautical art, and the backs of our framed prints are professionally taped and strung for hanging. We ensure each frame is built to the highest standard. Mounts are in complementary colours to the image, and vary from pure white to ivory. If you wish to specify a mount colour (we stock most colours), please contact us before or at the same time as placing your order. Double mounts can be produced for an additional charge. Many of our prints are large, and the frames can be quite heavy. Please ensure that they are securely hung. Custom Framing Requests

Our oak frames complement all of the marine art we stock, however, if you do wish for your print to be framed in a different style of frame, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

Frame Sizes

Along with the marine print size, we provide approximate sizes for the finished frame. Please note that these are approximate sizes, and can vary by as much as 10cm either way, in both length and height. We cut mounts to a suitable width depending on the print (please contact us if you wish to specify a particular mount width).
